Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data AffiliationList collects, why it is used, and how to ask questions or request changes. AffiliationList is a directory of affiliate programs operated by AnthoVdo in Belgium.
When you purchase Premium through checkout, payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Creem’s own privacy notice applies to card details and billing data. See also the Terms and the Refund policy.
1. Who is responsible
AffiliationList (affiliationlist.com) is operated by AnthoVdo, Belgium. For privacy questions, data access, or deletion requests, email [email protected] or use the contact page.
Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia) processes payment data as Merchant of Record. Creem can be contacted through Creem’s privacy notice, Creem’s buyer terms, or Creem’s contact page.
2. Data that is collected
Depending on how the site is used, the following may be stored:
- Account details: email address, username, and a hashed password
- Listing content submitted for a program (name, URLs, commission and payout details, logo, and related copy)
- Messages sent through the contact form (name, email, and message text)
- Newsletter email, if a subscription is requested
- Technical session data needed to stay logged in (session cookie) and to protect forms (CSRF cookie)
- Outbound click counts on listing links (counts only, not a profile of the visitor)
Card numbers are not collected or stored by AffiliationList. Payment details are entered in Creem Checkout.
3. Why it is used
Data is used to run the directory: create and review listings, operate accounts, send status emails about a listing, answer contact messages, send the newsletter to people who asked for it, and complete Premium checkout with Creem.
Legal bases under GDPR include performance of a contract (accounts, listings, paid Premium), legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention, basic analytics), and consent (newsletter).
4. Analytics
Plausible is used for privacy-oriented traffic stats (page views and similar events). It is not used to build advertising profiles.
On the live site, PostHog may be used to understand how pages are used and to find bugs. That can involve a cookie or similar identifier. It is not used to sell personal data or to run third-party ads.
5. Sharing
Personal data is not sold. It may be shared with:
- Hosting and email providers needed to run the site
- Creem, for Premium payments, invoices, taxes, refunds, and related customer service
- Authorities, if required by law
Public listing pages show the program information that was submitted. Account email is not shown on those pages.
6. Retention
Account and listing data is kept while the account or listing is active, and for a limited time after deletion or refusal where needed for security, dispute handling, or legal records. Contact messages are kept long enough to reply and follow up. Newsletter data is kept until the subscription is cancelled.
Creem keeps payment records under its own retention rules as Merchant of Record.
7. Rights
Where GDPR applies, a person may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of their data, and may object to certain processing. Newsletter consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Requests can be sent to [email protected] or through the contact page. A complaint may also be filed with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).
8. Cookies
Essential cookies are used for login sessions and form security. Analytics tools may set additional cookies on the live site, as described above. The site can be used to browse listings without creating an account.
9. Changes
This notice may be updated. The date of the last update is shown below. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated notice applies.
