Terms & Listing Guidelines
These guidelines explain what can be listed on AffiliationList and what may be rejected. By submitting a program, these terms are accepted.
If you have questions not covered here, please have a look at our FAQ or contact us.
1. What can be listed
Affiliate programs for online products and services are welcome, including SaaS, apps, online tools, courses, and other digital services.
2. What is not accepted
Submissions may be rejected if they involve, promote, or are primarily related to:
- Illegal activities or products
- Adult content or services
- Gambling or betting
- Multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes
- Hate speech, violence, or discrimination
- Products or services that violate intellectual property rights
- Violent or extremist content
- Crypto-related products or services (crypto tokens, exchanges, trading tools, etc.)
- Local-only affiliate offers that are not primarily online (local commerce, offline services, in-person sales)
If a category is unclear, the submission may be rejected to keep the directory consistent.
3. Quality and review
All listings are checked before publishing. A submission may be rejected for quality reasons, including (but not limited to):
- Missing or unclear affiliate terms (commission, cookie duration, payout info)
- Misleading claims, spammy descriptions, or low-effort submissions
- Broken links, unclear product positioning, or poor user experience on the official pages
- Content that does not fit the purpose of the directory
- Misleading or inaccurate information
AffiliationList reserves the right to accept or reject any submission.
4. No guarantees
Being listed on AffiliationList does not guarantee:
- Traffic or sales
- Higher search rankings
- Any specific outcomes from being listed
- affiliate approval
Results depend on the program, the offer, the audience, and the promotion method.
5. Paid placements and refunds (future)
Submitting a program is currently free. In the future, paid options may be added to promote or feature a listing.
If a paid placement is purchased and the program is later rejected (for example, because it does not meet the guidelines or the listing is misleading), the payment may be refunded. Any promoted placements will be clearly labeled.
6. Accuracy of information
Affiliate terms can change. While listings are checked before publishing, the provider’s official affiliate program page should always be used as the final source of truth.
7. Claiming a listing
Program owners can request to claim a listing to manage updates. Ownership verification may be required before access is granted.
